What iugu is for
iugu is a billing platform built for recurring revenue: it charges subscriptions by Pix, boleto and card, handles prorating, upgrades and add-ons, and can split each payment with partners. Your app tells iugu who to bill and what, and iugu generates the invoices and tells you when they're paid. It's sold as a monthly plan through a sales team, not as a self-serve gateway.
How it plugs into your product
- 1Talk to iugu's sales team, pick a plan and sign the contract; only then is the account created.
- 2Send the documents of every partner in the company and register a bank account in the same name; wait for the review.
- 3From your server, create customers, plans and subscriptions through the API, testing first in test mode.
- 4Add webhooks so your app unlocks or blocks access as invoices are paid or go overdue.
Does it fit your idea?
It fits if
- Your B2B SaaS has complex billing: prorating on upgrades, per-seat add-ons, several plans per customer.
- You run a platform that splits each payment with partners or professionals.
- You already bill enough each month that a negotiated rate is worth a monthly fee.
Look elsewhere if
- You're still validating the idea and don't want a monthly fee before the first sale.
- You want to sign up today and take a payment tonight.
- You need to know the exact fees before deciding.
What people only find out after building
Read this before you build on it. Each item links to the official page that says so.
No prices or fees are on the site. You talk to a consultant and sign a contract before the account even exists.

What it costs in practice
There's no public price, so you can't run the numbers before the sales call. To compare, ask for the quote and add it up: monthly fee + 200 × the fee per R$49 charge. For reference, Asaas would charge about R$398 a month for 200 Pix payments (estimate).
Estimate from the official price. Check it before you decide.
